Rockstar Fitness is the brain child of Manchester’s finest personal trainer James Byrne. He decided to combine his love of fitness with his passion for rock and roll to create an exciting new way to get fit. Jame’s approached Gorilla to help brand his new venture.
Gorilla experimented with many different concepts to produce the final logo mark. The upside down star is reminiscent of a rock and roll band icon. Importantly it is formed from a skipping rope- the classic fitness tool. The vibrant half tone photography is a nod to vintage screen printed Gig posters which also communicates the ‘energy’ of the fitness classes. Gorilla also designed a loyalty card to allow Rockstar members to keep track of sessions and earn rewards for their efforts. The combination of fitness and Rock and Roll has resulted in a visually pleasing design which like the company itself is completely unique to the fitness industry.
