Georgie from Wags to Bitches asked us:

“I want to create personalised dog collars- I have a great name but it’s a little bit outrageous, can you create a brand to match?”

Challenging the status quo

With a name like Wags to Bitches’ we couldn’t fail to break the rules. The dog accessory market is dominated by ‘pretty in pink’ hyper-feminine brands. Wags demanded something with a little more attitude.

How we broke the rules of doggy bling

We saw an opportunity to flip the market on its head by taking a rock and roll approach to the identity. We coined the tagline “For pup rockers & doggy divas” and created a doggy rockstar mascot complete with a (literal) twinkle in his eye. We clad the packaging in black leather print material, blood red velvet and gold foil block lettering- all inspired by vintage guitar amps. In a market packed with look-a-like pink and lacy brands we gave customers a rebellious alternative.

Georgie from Wags said

“You have blown us all away, we instantly fell in love with our Pup Rocking mascot!”
